Professor Pope has been selected by the Combustion Institute to be the Hottel Lecturer for the 34th International Symposium on Combustion, which will be held July 29 - August 3, 2012 in Warsaw, Poland. The International Combustion Symposia take place every two years and are attended by about 1,500 combustion scientists and engineers from around the world. The five-day meeting starts with the hour-long, plenary Hottel Lecture.
