Associate Professor Betta Fisher received Outstanding Teacher Award from St. Lawrence Section, ASEE.
Professor Fisher has been both an outstanding educator, and a leader for education and students for many years in the department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. Whether it is working as Associate Director (twice), developing learning modules for required courses, leading a communications pilot, or developing a new course in propulsion for our students - the examples are many, and her teaching is simply excellent.
The award was announced at the 2017 section meeting and joint conference on April 21-22 at the University at Buffalo.
