Sibley School Recognizes AIAA Executive Board Members.
These students have shown exemplary leadership qualities over the last academic year through the Cornell Chapter of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA). This year, AIAA executive board members coordinated and hosted information sessions for Boeing, NASA, and JPL. They hosted guest lecturers Jeff Haber and Lt. Col. Ed Yeilding, Professors’ Mason Peck and Dmitry Savransky joined students for planned informal lunches, organized by AIAA. Students learned about cutting-edge aero research outside of the classroom. Professor Perrine Pepiot serves as the AIAA Cornell Chapter Advisor.
