The Sibley School Graduation Ceremony took place on Sunday May 29th, in a large white tent on the Engineering Quad. Graduates had already been drenched at the main Commencement Ceremony in Schoellkopf that morning, and further storms were expected in the afternoon. In hopes of beating the storm, the Ph.D. and M.Eng degree recipients were announced at a record pace. Unfortunately, the thunder and lightning arrived early, and the Sibley Faculty were very disappointed to have to order evacuation of the tent in the midst of the announcement of the recipients of bachelor’s degrees. Our apologies to those who did not get to walk across the stage, and congratulations to all!
