Professor Rebecca Barthelmie will meet U.S. Ambassador to Denmark Carla Sands at a reception tomorrow in Copenhagen to celebrate the both American and Danish Fulbrighters. Professor Barthelmie is one of four U.S. Fulbright scholars selected for Denmark in academic year 2017-18. Professor Barthelmie said:
‘It is an honor to be selected as a Fulbright Scholar and to represent the U.S. abroad," says Barthelmie. "The Fulbright experience is a unique and valuable opportunity to expand as an academic but also as an individual and a chance to engage with another culture in a meaningful way. I’m so grateful to the Danish-American Fulbright Commission and also to my hosts at the Danish Technical University for helping me make the most of this wonderful University and country that are the power centers of wind energy research.’
