Energy Systems

The Energy Systems Areas consists of several faculty members in the Sibley School, working on transportation systems, biomass energy systems, building systems, power systems and environmental systems. The research activities are interdisciplinary in nature, and we collaborate extensively with researchers across the campus. Specific topics include developing a systems approach to regional energy transition, assessing energy and environmental impacts of biochars, developing clean and efficient liquid droplet combustion systems, creating intelligent building control technologies, and integrating transportation and power systems.
