The 2003 Cornell Univeristy Moonbuggy team designed and built a vehicle for the Great Moonbuggy Race held by NASA. The team designed during the fall semester of 2002 and built during the spring of 2003. The design requirements include the vehicle fitting inside a four foot cube, carrying two riders, and using no stored energy devies. The team tackled these and other design requirements in building a vehicle meant to traverse a simulated lunar surface. The end result was a machine that two people could carry, unfold, and ride through a tough and rocky course. Take a look at the 2002 site for more information.
