Professor Singh received the 2017 Young Investigator Award from the Society For Biomaterials
Ankur Singh, assistant professor in the Sibley School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, received the 2017 Young Investigator Award from the Society for Biomaterials during the opening ceremony of the society’s annual meeting – April 4-8, 2017, in Minneapolis. He then delivered the plenary talk.
The award recognizes an individual who has demonstrated outstanding achievements in the field of biomaterials research within 10 years of receiving their terminal degree (Ph.D. or equivalent). The award includes a cash prize and consideration for publication of a paper in the Journal of Biomedical Materials Research or Applied Biomaterials.
