  • The Cornell University Autonomous Underwater Vehicle team designs and builds AUVs. The team and vehicle have received serious attention from various industry members because of their performance and flexibility

  • The Cornell 100+ MPG Team is an engineering project group whose goal is to compete in and win the Progressive Insurance Automotive X-Prize Competition. They are also striving to help develop a new form of automobile that will reduce harmful emissions.

  • The mission of the Cornell Baja SAE Team is to design, build, and test an off-road vehicle that will survive the severe punishment of rough terrain.

  • This year, the 9 time World Champion Cornell Racing team will be celebrating its 22nd year of competition and has already traveled to Mosport International Speedway for the annual University of Toronto Shootout and returned with the win.

  • CUSat is a multi-year effort to design, build, and launch an autonomous in-orbit inspection satellite system. CUSat is the winner of the University Nanosat-4 Program which aims to educate the future aerospace workforce and develop new space technologies.

  • The Cornell University Solar Decathlon (CUSD) is an interdisciplinary, student-run project that competes in the U.S. Department of Energy’s global ‘Solar Decathlon’ to design and build a house that combines solar energy, energy efficiency, and innovation in home design.

  • The Cornell University SnakeArm is a student-run project team that seeks to design and fabricate a class of robotic arms that best resemble the strength, fluidity, precision, and dexterity of a snake.

  • Cornell MineSweeper is a student-initiated effort to design and fabricate a low-cost, autonomous robotic vehicle to accurately detect landmines and facilitate their clearance.

  • The goal of CUAir is to build an autonomous plane with capabilities to navigate waypoints, survey areas, and retrieve visual information about the surfaces below.
