Before joining the faculty at Cornell University, David Erickson was at the California Institute of Technology where his work centered on the integration of nanoscale fluidics with optical structures. Prior to that Prof. Erickson was at the University of Toronto where his research focused on the development of electrokinetically based techniques for improved selectivity in polymer microfluidic systems, whole-chip numerical prototyping of lab-on-chip devices and the fundamental studies of microscale transport. Erickson has also worked at the Institute for Polymer Research in Dresden, Germany and the Defense Research Establishment, Valcartier. |
