Designing Compliant Mechanisms and Optimal Multi-Agent Capture of a Gradually Moving Object
Abstract:
The first part of my talk will be on Compliant Mechanisms, why they are important and how to design them. I will concentrate on the continuum optimization approach to design path generating mechanisms. Time permitting, the second part of my talk will be on multi-agent capture of a gradually moving object. I will discuss certain algorithmic details and present some simulation results.
