Family News Update:

Jane is now a 2nd Lt. in the Air Force serving as a Military Intelligence Officer stationed in Alaska. David is a Senior at West Point finishing his major in Mechanical Engineering and playing sprint football. He also spends a lot of time with his girlfriend and fellow classmate Mandy Kimbrell. Tim is in Boston for the semester working as an engineering co-op student at Risk Metrics in order to enhance his abilities in Computer Science (and maybe secure a post-undergrad job). He also has a significant other, Cameron Cooper from Cornell. Michael is a freshman at Cornell studying Mechanical Engineering and enjoying his new found freedom. He is doing crew and enjoying the walks up and down East Hill. Anna is a junior in high school and is on the varsity volleyball team. She is getting near the point where she will have to decide whether to follow her siblings to Cornell! Rebekah is in 8th grade and is playing junior varsity volleyball. She has mastered her serve. She is also enjoying her 2nd year of public school. Elizabeth, Lydia and Sarah are still home schooled by Mary. They all enjoy spending time at home, and they like the space that they have at home with 4 of their siblings gone to college or careers. We are working on raising another dog for Guiding Eyes for the Blind (Anouk), and Humphrey, our other Lab, is still contributing his fair share to life at the house. Mary and Mark have been working on spending more time outdoors. Mark has a new bike that he enjoys riding to Cornell, and Mary has increased her "Adirondacks High Peaks Hiking" count to about a dozen. The family is enjoying the free time that God provides and hopes to camp a lot more now that the number of campers is a more manageable 7 rather than 11.
