- extension of TM-2 to handle three-dimensional
thin parts with variable thickness; based on a fixed mesh consisting of
triangular and tubular elements to describe the cavity and delivery
system, respectively, with the melt front being advanced automatically;
viscosity can have arbitrary shear rate, temperature and pressure
dependence; has its own graphic post-processor and interfaces with
SUPERTAB for modeling and discretizing the geometry; two wireframe
post-processors (PLOT3D & PLOTDE) modified (4/87) to utilize GP$CIMP graphic routines
