CIMP Software Status: TM-10
- TM-10-A (6/89)
- program (PACK1D-E) for modeling cavity pressure distribution during
filling and post-filling stages based upon purely viscous model with
compressibility as applied to strip or center-gated disk cavity; based
upon conservative formulation which uses a staggered finite-difference
mesh; superseded by PACK1D-L
- TM-10-B (6/89)
- program (PACK2DM2) which is an extension of 10-A to thin cavities of
arbitrary planar geometry using a hybrid finite-element /
finite-difference formulation; unlike above program, 10-B omits the
filling stage and models non-isothermal effects during the post-filling
stage in terms of transient one-dimensional conduction; superseded by
PACK2DM4
- TM-10-C (6/89)
- program (PACK3DM) which gives a unified filling and post-filling
simulation for three-dimensional thin geometry; formulation is based upon
compressible generalized Hele-Shaw flow; numerical scheme builds upon that
in TM-7 and FLOW3D
